Transmission Crossmember

ok so i need to rework my tranny X-mamber......how did yall do it? any pictures? or should i say fuck the dumbshit and weld it to the frame and call it a day and drink some beer?

i was told weld some angle to the top of it and bolt it thru the side of the frame im welding mine to the frame for the time being

i just ran in to a tranny x member with my 79 c10. i gotta get under the truck and see how to make a new one. the bed is about a half an inch from layin with a mono (dual) leaf setup. due to the tranny xmember my front doesnt lay when the truck is completely layd out. shits whack!! FREAKS
