I KNOW ITS BEEN BROUGHT UP HERE LATELY BUT STILL A LITTLE LOST. I'M BUILDING ANOTHER FORD BUT SETTING THIS ONE UP FOR 22'S AND WANNA KEEP THE STOCK CONTROL ARMS AND GET IT TO LAY. I DON'T WANNA BUY DJM'S OF DROP SPINDLES. I SEE SOME OF YA'LL TALKING ABOUT SPINDLE FLIPS AND BALLJOINT FLIPS AND LOOKED INTO IT A LITTLE. I GUESS IM JUST ASKING IF SOMEONE CAN POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON HOW TO GET THIS THING TO LAY DOWN WITH A 22, STOCK ARMS AND SPINDLES, AND USING SLAM RE7'S. ANY HELP'S APPRECIATED. THANKS

cut off spring pocket weld on front mounts, notch and gusset lower control arms and notch for tie rods, that alone should lay you on a 22 add spindles for flavor. Flavor = 24" Just remember that you cant run/mock up the spindles unless you have an 18" or larger rim if you go that route, i would advise against the spindle flip being that its a last resort when spindles are not available which in this case they are. If your gonna body drop then tubs are required and i also switched to a ranger brake booster, or you could do a Hydro Boost. Hit me up if you gots more questions. If need be i have my truck on the lift at work right now and i could take and post photos.

yup, i agree with him you can also insteed of fliping the ball joint you could raise it up 2" inches by cutting off the front and stepping it up.

do you still have your truck jason? is this a new project. i got the roll pan & steps on they look great thanks again

Could you dig that article up, or tell me what issue it was in? I rember seeing Truckin' do it in their mag, but never ST.

you will have to notch the frame to get RE7's up front.

After the flip of the ball joint is done. Then what do you do about the top control arm to fix the camber?
