Hi guys I'm new here and was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction.

I'm looking to bag my truck, but I don't want it to lay the frame, just get as low as possible without doing a body drop.

What would you guys recommend.

Here are a few pics I took today.

Thanks

If your going to bag it, I suggest just going ahead and make it lay frame. It probably would be more difficult to make it not lay out on bags. If you want it low, crank the torsion bars in the front, put some blocks in the back and trim up your bump stops.

Truck looks like it is in great shape. I don't think those wheels will tuck if you do decide to make it low enough to tuck.

good luck!

yeah those wheels came on the truck when I got it.

To lay the frame do you have to do a body drop?

The lowest you can go without a bodydrop is laying frame.

no. when someone body drops a truck they do it so they body will sit on the ground. ie, making the frame and body even, so they both lay out. Some guys and girls cut off parts of the bottom of the body to make the truck even lower.

There are three ways to body drop a truck:
Traditional: cutting out the entire floor around the edges and letting the body "drop" the desired distance, then welding filler plates in.

Stock Floor: Building/modifying a frame to make the body mounts lower.

Channeling: cutting out just the necessary parts of the floor to allow the body to drop.

Spend some time on the forums here. look through profiles. you'll learn a lot!
