87 monte lowering kit?

my buddy heated hsi springs and its bouncy and he wants to know if anyone sells spindles or just lowering springs?

I have Suspension Technique's 2 inch lowering springs on my 80' Regal, same as your monte both g-bodys. rides real nice.check my profile.

Yep, bell tech sells spindles, coils and shocks to bang that out. A bunch of companys sell drop coils. Hotchkis even sells a kit with all powdercoated suspensions parts,like sway bars,tubular control arms and trailing arms etc. Most of the good stuff is for the SS model only thought.

whats the difference between the ss and non ss montes? because this isnt a ss and my buddy seems to think there the same

Honestly I'm not sure. Its just when I looked it up in the book for parts it came up SS only...It might be something with bigger brakes, but not 100%

Buy S-10 spindles and springs from summit to lower it. the spindles are 160.00. springs are about 90. In the rear you'll have to get lowering springs off maybe a cutlass or grand national. I just bagged an SS. The sway bar in the front is larger diameter and it comes eqipped with a rear sway bar. They also use different spring rates on the SS supposedly. Other than that your working with an S-10 fron end or a complete cutlass, monte, regal, grand national, or gran prix frame and suspension. Lowering these cars is easy if you find the right stuff. Bagging them consists of using bolt in S-10 stuff in the front and replacing the rear springs with bags and new shocks in the rear. I got a brand new rear brake kit with backing plates, front monte ss sway bar, complete front to back stainless brakeline kit, and other various parts for these cars so if you need anything let me know, I'll sell the shit at a reasonable price.
