Ok here's the question. If you tape the LED off when putting on the base, do you take of the tape before or after putting down the coats of candy? And if you take the tape off before putting down the candy will it make the light too hard to see???? And, if you take the tape off after the candy and before the clear wont it make for a really heavy tape line? Any suggestions or any experiences will be greatly appreciated.

we sprayed the candy right over the leds on my buddy's fullsize and it turned out great. you can't really see the lenses in the daylight until he hits the brakes. I would ask a pro before you take my word but thats what we did.

So did it alter the color of the Light when applied or did it look OK? And how many coats did you apply?

It is from AVS and the color is the HOK organic green. We did six coats on the interior pieces and that is what we plan on using on the outside. It is the 61" all red.

dont hold me to this but untape the lenses after say three coats then finish up the other coats and clear if your going for the ghost look and after you wet sand and buff they should be flush and smooth with no tape lines
