who makes tintable primer that you can vary on the shade you want? i'm looking for a light green primer to shoot my cab with. i just don't where to get it locally. nobody seems to know what i'm talking about. thanks

i just mix some base coat in my hibuild primer. works good. sands better. just mix some dark green and black in your primer(assumin you got tan)

I'VE GOT GRAY 2K. THANKS GUYS.IVE THOUGHT ABOUT THE BASE COAT IDEA BUT JUST DON'T WANNA SCREW UP ANY MORE THAN I HAVE TO.

as long as ur primer is urethane and the base coat is urethane you will be fine.

Just paint it with basecoat and don't clear it. Looks hella good if you just want the color effect.
