I fixed my car with Dynamat!

Just thought this was really funny and thought id share with you guys. Who knows it might even help someone out someday.


My Datsun(the black one) has been running really bad lately. It would drive for about 2 blocks then barely run for about 30 seconds. I changed the fuel filter, coil, points, adjusted dwell, re-synced the carbs, jetted them, checked the fuel pump, checked vacuum, checkes plugs, and everything seemed good or didnt help a damn thing.

Finally I noticed the fuel rail ran real close to the exhaust. Thought maybe my gas was turning to vapor. Schucks was out of heat sheath for lines but when i was walking around the shop i noticed some dynamat scraps. Decided Id give it a try since the foil is a lot like the sheaths they sell. Now the car runs perfect now.

so if ur ever stuck on the side of the road with vaporlock, try rippin some of that dynamat out of ur vehicle.
