Just wondering if the 88-98 3500s will take 88-98 1500 arms? Also, can I use the 3500 spindle with the arms? I want to keep my truck 8lug but can't seem to find anything 88-98 that will allow me to keep my 8lug setup.

No one knows? I just need to know if I can use 1500 control arms and if I can, and use them, can I use my 3500 spindles?

I want to keep the truck 8 lug.

arms are different on the 8lugs

I know they are different. I see guys with 1500 's using 3/4 and 1ton control arms all the time to help them lay out. McCustomize had his 24s laid out with all stock stuff and then made it lay harder with drop spindles.

the lower arms are the same the uppers are different. if you want to use 3/4 or 1 ton uppers on 1/2 ton spindles you have to ream out the spindle or possibly change out the ball joint.
i dont understand why u want to change them?

86 3500 upper ball joint will fit into the chevy 1500 spindle. Get moog ones, if you don't then it will lay with a 20, and thats about it. the moog ones have more travel.
