To flip the steering linkage on a 02-05 do you have to reream the hole in the spindle backwards or just flip them. I doing the bags in front right now need to know soon.

you will most likely need a bushing made to fit the spindle when you flip the tie rod......

Yes you will need to ream it from the bottom, I dont remember the correct size of reamer to use though.

Snap-On part number R121. It's a Chevy balljoint taper, which just happens to be the same as the Dodge tie rod. It is a 1/2" to 1" reamer. It cuts the stock aluminum spindle much easier than my cast 2" drop spindles.
