I'm planning on running 2 Kicker CVT 10s in my wagon. I really know nothing about audio stuff. Any Kicker people out there? I'd like to know if I should go with 4ohm or 2ohm and what amp to use. I want a deep bass sound that will tavel since it is a topless car that cannot keep the sound enclosed. Please dont try to suggest any other sub brand. I'm going with Kicker no matter what.

don't matter if you go 2 ohm or 4 ohm that only affects the amp that you should use..........but what i'd do is go 2 ohm so you can run a big 2 channel amp and run it 2ohm stereo get more power out of your amp with out runnin it as hard....now if you decided to do a mono amp that is only 2 ohm stable you'll want to do 4 ohm subs.....really just depends on the type of amp that your thinkin about running....my suggestion run 2 2ohm subs and a 1000.1 it'll do 1000 whats to your subs since the amp will see a 1 ohm load...need nething else just holla

What's up man, I'm an installer at Kicker. Our FJ we did for SEMA last year has our zx1000.1 on a pair of 10's. I would suggest porting the box if you can, it will help out in the convertible situation.
