fbirides control arms any good?

Hey guys i got a 89 chevy fullsize regular cab. I am worken on getten it b/d'd on 22's and this control arm deal on fbirides.com say's it'll lay 20 or 22's frame on the ground. It's like 500$ for the arms and i was wondering if they'll work on a traditional b/d truck of 4inches? Just wondering cause i can't afford a whole lot and don't want to waiste money on control arms that won't work? Thanks for the help fellas!

i was also pondering this topic.....thats cheap for a complete set uppers and lowers....but if they are crap...i have been out of the minitruck game for a few years...been working on my 51...i was just wondering if fbi was the new AIM haha.

right on man, yeah i have a 94 sonoma...so thats perfect! do they come with the balljoints? saw them pictured without. thanks alot!

yeah bro they come with balljoints grase zerks,bushings everything.i had to buy 91 hard body bushings for the uppers.they were out at the time.if you are laying 20's fbi says to trim the mounts on the frame cause they do hit! i chose to take it off the arm its self there is way more material there!you also have to cut part of the casting on your spindle.there is a little nob there that stops it from turning all the way.all in all they are good they do lay 20's but like they say you have to do some mods nothing is ever bolt on.but when you get them you will see what i am saying abought the trimming on the lower arm.it ruins the powder coating but there is more to work with on the arm rather than the lower mounts.just my opinion.

Yeah i have my suspension guy checken on them at the moment. So hopefully he'll give me a headsup on what the deal is. I just happend to stumble upon them and thought i'd ask. I knew it was kindof a new deal for fbi to sell so i was a little leary of it. Thanks for the input guys!
