Is it physically possible to lay frame on a '99 Dodge Ram with 26s? I really dont think it is but i've never touched a Dodge before and have a guy willing to drain his bank account into my pocket to get his Ram laid. Would 24s even be reasonable?

24s can be done, Mr. Scrape did one butthe toe sucked

you can body drop it on 22s with a nice size tire on it. 24s would work but your tire is going to be small.ifcustoms laid one out on 22s you can check out in the archives

I figured thats how it would be, does anybody know wha all it takes to lay it on 24s? I figure drop spindles and a frame z is in order, any other hints?

i know on the newer ones they are raisin the upper arm mounts. Haggard fab just did a 04 i think boddied on 24s. I dont know what yr the rams changed over to that style tho. I do know that they did a TON of work to get everything to work right under there tho

Ok here is the long and short of it...

If you jsut laying frame... you cant for a 26.

A 24 is most of the way through the hood hinge and no z is needed just some custom control arms and spindles and it would be a good measure for the control arms to have uniballs.

In the rear a 26 is possible but once you get into the 22" and up range you need to narrow the rear end something fierce.

That looks killer, did Mr. Scrape build those arms himself? Does he have a profile on here or do I have to wait til tomorrow to give him a call?

If he is going to pay just reclip it with a chevy front clip and use the dodge drop spindles money in the bank!

chevy clip would be horrible, you need the camber to clear the fenders when they kick in.
