need motor help bad

i need to know if a 1986 b2000 and 1987 b2200 block are the same. If so i am having trouble with the tube that come off the block and connects to the lower radiator hose. My tube is off my old b2000 motor and now it will not line up on the b2200 motor. I also have moved my p/s from the b2000 motor and it is on the b2200 motor. So not only do the mounting holes not line up but now the p/s pump is in the way. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. pics would be helpful

im pretty sure the 86-87 are the only same motors. 088-93 i think there different i dont know the dfference but when i was looking for a motor for mine they said 86-87 was different but not sure what it was

the motor will interchange between 2.0 and 2.2 BUT you have to use the accys and bracketry that belongs to the motor you are installing. We talked about this a few months ago, someone had a difference in the water piping like you are describing. Even though my 2.0 is identical to a 2.2, the 2.0 engine belonging to the person asking the question was not the same as the 2.2. So, some will interchange, some will not, I cant tell you how to tell the difference yet. Get the water piping and bracketry from the donor.
