I know this wheel stuff has been beaten over and over, but I just want to double check before I spend some money on some wheels.

Will 18"x7" wheels with 4.5" backspacing tuck on a Bodydropped mazda w/ 4wd fenders and drop spindles (i know the drop spindles add an inch, but i'm shimming the upper control arm in a little bit for some negative camber). Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

on a 7" wide wheel you need a minimun of 5.5" backspacing otherwise you'll rub the bedsides up by the upper bodyline . order a 5.625 or 5.75 backspacing if you can

no, not even a little chance. 4.5 backspace on an 7 inch wheel is +13 offset, thats about a third of what you need with drop spindles on a 7.

And FYI a 4x4 bed only helps if you arent bodydropped, otherwise the upper taper of the bedside will hit the tire.

well the rear end is getting narrowed. but for the front, what size offset and backspacing can i run to achive the biggest lip? Thanks.

right now I'm setting up an 18x7.5 rim with a 40 series tire, and I'm running a +45 offset with the 5 bolt swap on CanDo arms so the dimensions are the same as stock.

I was running 18x7.5 with a 38mm offset and clearing fine in the front
