do you tighten the bolts on the bar ends REALLY tight, or leave them kind of snug. the reason i ask is because i don't want to pinch the bushings between the tabs and the bar ends too much, but i don't want there to be much slack in there either. suggestions...

tighten the hell outta them. the crush sleeve insert wont allow the bushing to get pinched too tight

Bryan is right. An over tightened bolt is many times stronger than a snug bolt. It's hard to explain, but if you leave the bolts loose, you will end up with problems.

lock tight is your friend on 4 links. Use the blue kind if you plan on taking it apart but i used the red kind cause i dont ever want it to come apart.

Red loctite is a little excessive. A lock nut is good enough and at least it will come apart easy enough if anything ever needs to be serviced.

loctite is a bit excessive, but if it makes you sleep better at night. You should use nyloc nuts where ever possible, unless it needs a "all-metal" lock nut for heat reasons and make sure that the threads are longer than the nut.
