question for you guys? need a litle help here. i have been told that S-10 control arms will work on Astro's. true?

No, not true at all. Caprice control arms, but on the the '95 and later police package arms will work being that they have the larger 5/8" lower balljoints. The uppers will work from any '77-'96 caprice. These are interchangeable with Astro arms.

what about control arms off of a 1975 chev 1/2 ton??
BDon20s   +1y
No 1/2 ton control arms will work... only those I specified above.

My van is coming slowly but surely, everytime I get into another area of work I seem to make it increasingly complicated and the workload only seems larger. Should be badass when finished.

sounds good BDon20s! what size wheels are your running on your astro? and what kind of control arms are you running? i'll be sending you updated pix of my van to you soon!

I have 22's on it now, but I will be upgrading the rears to 24's very shortly. I am running speed-tech upper and lower arms.
