What all would it take to convert an 81 c-10 to a right hand drive.

in short... a lot. starting with steering, you would need to either convert to a rack and pinion style steering or move your stock steering box from your driver side frame rail to your passenger side. all the steering linkages would then have to be reversed. your steering column could essentially just slide over to the passenger side. brake pedal. easiest solution there is to mount a brake booster/master cylinder under the frame on the passenger side and run your pedal up through your floor. you could just move your whole stock unit over to the passenger side, but it looks pretty ugly. gas pedal would be simple, just mount the pedal on the passenger side and run a throttle cable instead of a rod (thus allowing flexability and not having to make new carb brackets). i dont know what you want to do about gauges, but those would have to move over (not HAVE to, but i cant imagine why you wouldnt move em.) then of course the wiring all has to be transfered from driver side to passenger side. the most difficult problem that i can see is the steering. i would highly suggest going with a rack and pinion, but finding one the right length with the right steering ratio and the setup could prove to be difficult. if i recall correctly, IF customs built a 67 that they showed bare metal at the Ludikrs show last year and they pulled a rack and pinion out of toyota camry. however, it wasnt right because when you turned the wheel to the right, the truck turned left (they turned it around to make it work with what they needed). so thats something else you have to look for. if i think of anything else, ill let you know
