Ranger dash

lookin for some ideas for my 2000 ranger.

i am thinking about just smoothing and painting the dash. how do i go about this and has anyone done that prep help thanks.

any other ideas?

i wrapped my dash with the same leather as my seats and door's, and painted some pieces, and molded in my gauges and a 9" widescreen monitor into the factory radio location.
