air over leaf?

i never run a lot of air, i never try to get a lot of lift either. the whole point of being bagged for me is to ride low



Well thats were you went wrong. the only reason you put adjustable suspension in is to get the truck up so you can drive it



I'm confused, on your profile it says your bagged with 4 link? If your not actually bagged with 4 link then are you just trying to lay the rear out to drag it or something?

These are made for towing so they will work fine, but stay away from the sleeve bags there junk when driving with little to no air.

it sucks dont do it. you will beat your self to death. girls will be getting sick just riding with you. and if your pullin a bunch of leafs thats scary for a daily.

I wouldn't think that it would be much different than a truck with drop leaf springs and air shocks.
I know my old daily nissan had drop leafs and blocks with air shocks and it rode pretty decent.
I never had any intention of just removing a bunch of leafs from the stock spring pack.

It doesn't ride good but its not the end of the world. More importantly though, its not very safe, I snapped a leaf spring, I was lucky I was only going 5mph. So if you do it, just make it temporary.

and to answer billy- you are right, the point of air suspension is to be able to raise it up, but i never need to raise it up much, just enough to clear some bumps and pull in and out of driveways

for everyone mentioning snapped springs, were you mono-leafed? or using drop leafs?

i only ask because i have seen mono-leaf jobs break, but never heard anything bad about using drop leafs
