Hardbody 4wd to 2 wd???

I have a 1990 model hardboy 4wd. I am planning on stock flooring it. Yes I am taking the 4wd stuff off. My questions is this, will 2wd drive control arms fit the 4wd drive control arm mounts?

I'm pretty sure that the 4wd chassis is a completely different frame.

the upper arms and the same from 4x4 to 2wd i think. but thats about the only similarity. my pathy is a 4x4 chassis but its a 2wd and im bout to start stock flooring it. but im doing a toyo front clip and a full frame past that.

nothing will swap over uppers mount totally different and the lowers are more like a arms and i think the tranny is different also

Has anyone ever made control arms for a 4wd frame to work on a bagged setup?

why not sell the 4wd and pick up a 2wd

use the body and build a full frame for 2wd
