unique whips

i know theres been threads but after watching it last nite i thought i should make a new one..MAN those guys are GAY...they cant do more than a square box.. and they SPRAYPAINTED and escalade interior last nite and the shit peeled off in the back...and then they showed reme welding up some cheesy amp rack brackets and he shows the welds and goes "the world could crash and these welds would still hold" they looked kinda boogery to .....altho i do admit i watch the damn show just because its remotely related to the custom scene and the rest of tv sucks

watched the same episode that was a rerun from like 1-2 years ago and I beleive they showed some sema coverage in that episode or the one right after. The newer shows they now have a real paint booth. not saying that makes them better but atleast its a start to do it the right way.

i watch the show too and although most of the stuff they do isnt really all that hard, making a speaker box, bolting on some big ass wheels, spray painting some interior stuff, will castro is got some mad loot, so even if the stuff they do is lame, he is making cash off the shit, so it dont matter to me if its lame or insanely custom shit, if i had the money he has, i wouldnt be complaining!!!

i've been installing custom car audio for 16 yrs. and yes there a joke, the reason they went with the Unique Autosports, is every install is Uniquely Alike..

will somebody please define the term "whip"? how in the hell did folks start calling cars "whips". a whip is something one of those damn dominatrix people use! haha!

When the steering wheel was first put into use in automobiles, it was called the "whip". The whip is what you used to control the horses on a stagecoach, hence the analogy. Many years later, various hip hop artists noticed that the Mercedes-Benz logo resembled a steering wheel. They then proceeded to use the old term "whip" to describe any Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The term has now been generalized to classify any expensive automobile. But many uses it to describe there ride.



And yes them fuckers are whack. There right around the corner from my old shop. They have everyone around here fooled because of the stars they rip off. I tried so hard to get the dude to do a build of battle for charity, but he refuses....
