So I order a 4 link from them, first I call and get told that there is no specific lenght for a ranger kit. Ok. I was told that I need to give them the lengh that I want, so being my first 4 link I ask around and get some ideas. Well long story short it is to long, and I am now stuck with a new 4 link that has to be cut down and redone by someone to work. Would not be so irritated, but when I called SD twice and get told the same thing then end up with something that I can use it is a bit irritating. Now befor I get flamed I realise I gave them the lenght, but then again I would think as many ranger 4 links they have made they would have a idea of the common inside frame to rearend lengh I would need. I ordered all 4 bars adjustable, uppers are round and lowers are square, and planned to do bag on bar. Ok I feel abit better. What would be a good price to have someone cut it down to fit?

Sorry for the disappointment man but we won't provide measurements for 4links! Also with most of the 4links we build we have no idea what they are for, people just call us and give measurements and we build them. But we don't do installs so we really don't have measurements for anything.

Well I was told by several others on here just to tell them I wanted one to fit a ranger and they would know what lenght I would need. Since they sell a ranger kit. I have had good service other than this deal. Not sure what to do with the 4-link. Think I have found someone to shorten it for me. I still tell everyone to buy from SD.

Oh wait I did have another problem, I needed a large shirt and was sent a small... LOL talk about tight fit. Oh well it was free. Keep up the quallity work.

Next time get the unwelded 4link they sell then u can just cut to ur length and weld ends on

well the 4-link just need to be cut down re-drilled and re-taped. any machine shop should be able to do that for a good price.

I would imagine $25 a bar would be a fare price. Can't take more than that. In reality an hour or hour and half labor. It is smart on SD's part to not say "We are told that blah blah blah is the normal length". I could see that causing big problems too.

I am just gonna get one set of bars cut and then set it up. House and quad are keeping me to busy.
