Hey all quick question. I have the 5 gallon 4 port stainless tanks from suicide. I need to run 300 psi for full lift in the front. Has anyone else ran this much in these tanks? Is it safe? I would be running nitrogen to them. Thanks

wow 300 is a shit load for full lock...some thing is wrong in ur set up

My front end travels 16 inches with full uniballs for joints and steering with custom spindles. There is nothing wrong with the setup. The question was not if my front end was ok but if these tanks will run 300 safely. Thanks

300 PSI IS INSANE FOR FULL LIFT! ANYWAY... SOMETIMES THEY STAMP THE TANKS WITH THE RATINGS. THE MAJORITY OF 5 GALS I SEE ARE 150-200 PSI. BE CAREFULL LOL

get a locking air chuck... then lock it on, with a 60 gallon compressor, air it up while watching from a distance...

we carry the same tank and the rating is 150psi. it is manufactured in japan and probably does not have the save safety regulations as an american made tank. i would not go over 200psi......

the tanks are rated at 150 but they are rated 4 times less then they can safely hold..

look at matts gauge truck.. 12 gallons pushing 600 and no problems.. i've had my 12 gal from SD pushings well into the 3's dailied..

potter, the 12 gal is manufactuered in the usa which has a different safety factor than over seas. they do not regulate stuff the way the us does. std usa built air tanks are built with a 2:1 safety factor in most cases. so 150psi means 300psi burst pressure. i would not do that on the over seas made tanks. who knows what their regulations are. reason their tanks are cheap.....less regulations and codes....also keeo in mind that non of the dna tanks are dot approved, which means they do not meet nearly the codes that the others do.

i figured J was getting all of his tanks from the same place.. yeah, all of the 8 port tanks he has are airlifts.. but i figured the stainless and chromes were just as good quality wise.. my bad
