re ndering

i dont get how to work photoshop that well..i cant figure out how to do renderings like that...

practice, practice, practice...it is the only way to get better...oh and read on some photoshop tutorials.

rj's right you wont get better unless you dedicate yourself to it

learning photoshop basics first help alot too
once you know photoshop renderings come fairly easy... but youll never master photoshop
its so open ended there are a million ways to do one thing.. youll learn something everyday

and tutorials will become a crutch if you base your skills on them alone
you need to do some tutorials and once you get the hang of the basics then you need to develope your own style... ive been doing it for KEG for about 2 almost 3 years and in my eyes im still not as good as some of these guys out here.. fast eddy.. nick crouch.. foose.. robbie ect. the list goes on

practice practice practice.. if you decide to keep goin with it ill toss ya some psd's from stuff ive done on the side so u can see

iam in the same boat. just got cs2 and trying to figure it out.

for all the gurus out therewhat is the best book to learn from?is there a good site specific to Photoshop?

I wouldnt buy any books because Im sure you can find the same info on the web.

A pretty good site/forums I used to go to is www.photoshopedup.com. Its basically all ricer stuff but you can apply the same tutorials to whatever.
