ON my old toyota I built a cover out of wood and wrapped it in vinyl, it was really inexpensive and kept the weather out, actually looked real good also.

Are you kidding me?

Don't Rhinoline it TO your bed... Separately

Ideally, a permanent blow-thru would be your best bet.

If you have no port to your cab, it's really pointless to have a sub box in your bed...

Just my opinion of course

If your going to do a blow through and you want to be able to access the woofer, do a 6th order bandpass box, with a removable top so you can get to the woofer if needed. Plus doing this type of enclosure all you have to port into the cab is the port by itself. You dont have to cut the whole back cab wall out and put in a giant acordian boot. Just cut out 1/2"-3/4" bigger opening than the outside diameter of the port so that it will allow for cab/bed flex with the port going into the cab of the truck.
This way you cut out less structural integrity of the cab. All you have to do is put in the acordian boot and slide the port through, make a nice flush piece for the back wall wrap it and your done. Have the box rhino lined bolt it down to the bed through the inside of the box that way thiefs cant steal it and use security screws on the top of the box, and they wont be able to open it.
