Sup all,i need some help with my front suspension setup on my 1983 B1600,i want to lay the front engine crossmember out but the bushes on the bottom control arms sit lower than the crossy....so ive decided im going to raise both front control arm mounts up rather than z'ing the chassis(please critise if you think im going about this the wrong way) this will then allow me to lay + it will assist in keeping the stock suspension geometry intact,to do this however i run into problems..the top control arm is all good, chop off the bit of angle (blue circle) and raise it up but how do i go about raising the bottom arm mounts (red circles) the only idea ive come up with is to use a holesaw and cut a hole either sie of the crossy (white circle in bottom photo) and flip the mounts over onto the top of the crossy with the cross shaft fitting through the holes iv just cut and tighten it back up using the original bolt holes...now i know these utes have been done before and theres bound to be an easier way to do it but i'l be damned if i can find any info so if any of you's out know of a better method or can put me on to someone id be super stoked with the help!
Cheers Kris
