HOW DO YOUBEND THE 2X3 RAILS TO CURVE UP AND OVER THE AXLE ON A STK FLOOR OR A BACK HALF? I'VE LOOKED BUT CAN'T FIND ANY PICS IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING THE RAILS; BUT ONLY OF THE COMPLETED SETUP. THANKS FOR ANY HELP AND/ OR PICS.

A mandrel bender is used to bend the frame rails like that. The bender cost many thousands of dollars, which is why there's not very many people in the minitruckin industry that offers mandrel bent frame rails. Best bet would be to buy a set of rails from a fab shop, or build them out of flat plat and weld them together.

They are mandrel bent. I dont think it can be done w/out a mandrel bending machine which is $$$$$$$$. Only way I could think of is to cut the sides of the rails to the profile you want then cap the top and bottom to box it in. There are places to buy prebent framerails for a pretty good price but someone else would have to provide the links to them.

Oops BIG beat me to it.

yeah agree'd with what the others said.....

as well as if you just buy some plates and cut them out long as a side rail of your frame , them box it on top and bottom like they said above.
alot of Hot rod frames are custom built like this.... like those frames thats short at front then get fatter as it goes to the back...
alot of welding.. but well worth the look...

I've also seen people pie cut the square tubing to get that look but I couldn't imagine the amount of welding and grinding that would have to be done for it to be clean. You might could just get a backhalf with the curve in it. I know The Choppin Block and some other shop on here had frame sections for sale, maybe Vince from TCB will chime in.
