but enough jokes, .023 is the best for sheetmetal... hey max, ask your supplier for washington alloy, its super cheap (about 3x less than lincoln wire), and welds fine, dont know if you use enough wire for that to make an impact or not though...... the only time you should really notice a big difference in wire companies is like 220+ amps, and usually when you are using spray arc transfer, the arc stability seems better with lincoln wire..... occasionally (maybe once a month), ive noticed a join in the roll bind up in the feeder, but for the shop i work at the price difference makes up for the slight lack in quality......
