i have heard that 3/4 ton uppers work on 1/2 ton trucks for ball joint problems, i was just wondering do these bolt right up do u have to change bushings? do they have to come off a 2wd 3/4 ton or does it matter anything would help. Just bought a pair and they are nowere close to fittin

did you get 3/4 ton arms for ur hoe? whatd they come off of? mine are about 1/2 inch from even fitting in the pockets were they mount

From what i've "heard". You will need to get either 86 or 88 1-ton moog ball joints to make it work. Its smaller taper to fit the 1/2 ton spindle and has the correct bolt pattern for the 1-ton arms. (I think they are the same as the 3/4 but not 100% sure) You WILL need moog ones, i have the conversion on a 1/2 ton and it wont' lay cause of cheap ball joints. (It was done when i got the truck so thats why i'm not sure on the year)

sounds like too much work, just pie cut the arms and change the balljoint 15 degrees, you can lay like almost a 31" tall tire like that.....
