I'm buying a 00 bagged ranger when i get home in October from a buddy of mine. My first mods on it will be the body, fully shaved and i want to update the shitty front end of the 98-00. In order to do a 01-03 what parts will i need specifically. Fenders, grill, headlights, Bumper? all the other bits behind the grill? i'm not going to be doing the job, and will be taking it to a a shop, but if i can get all the parts myself how much do you reckon it would cost for the labor to do the job? any and all info is a huge help. thanks

header panel and grill is all you need, it all bolts right up, bumper and hood will match new stuff.

really? sweet, so no fenders or anything, just the header panel and grille, and obviously the headlights. Do i need any mounting hardware for the lights, or if i just get a set of headlights off ebay thatll do it? One other question is about the bumper, if i take off my 00 bumper will a 01-03 bolt right up? thanks

Yes the bumper mounts right up.

youll need the slides to hold the head light in, if the ebayones dont come w/ it.

thanks alot, appreciate it. As far as labor goes, i'm guessing the header panel can just be unbolted and replaced, so i should be able to do it with no welds or anything of that nature yeah? thanks again

looks good, yeah i def. prolly going to go with a 01-03, whered you get your parts ebay? I'm coming home in November, and this is going to be the first mod i'm going to do, followed closely by the shaved rear with a full skin and caddies not to mention the boyd coddington timeless II 20's i just picked up on ebay for 1600 with new nitto 555 on em, i'm very excited bout that deal, just got to make em tuck in the front

This is probably the best article i found explaining the conversion... he did his in an hour, and it doesn sound to be too complicated, something im deffinantly looking into... http://www.rangerpowersports.com/tech/?p=94 does anyone know if its the same idea for a 96' or do you need to do more modification to the support and such?
