i have read somewhere that u cant mill the steel semi wheels down. i would like to know why i couldnt do it. any info would be great. i am talkin about the 22.5 just so you know. thanks
you gotta take a 1/4" out of them.. and the steel wheels are only 1/4 thick or less.. Not sure of the thickness. might be 3/16".. There's just not enough there to mill..
that make sence. ok well every semi wheel website doesnt have prices on the wheels, tires, adapters, and the labor to mill them dowm. i just want to know prices.
Chromewheel are the guys that built the adapters that were on marks dodge that broke. from what I've heard they have had several of their adapters break. So I'd stay away from them...
Ben is right steel rims for a semi or its trailer are about 3/16-1/4 tops so milling them down would be hard.On a alum semi rim they are atleast 2 times as thick so you have the room to work with.As for price i sell them at my shop for about 115.00 cdn
