ordered more step down inserts for the Heim Joints im using for the upper control arms last night. Didn't know i would need 2 per heim, other wise i would have ordered the right amount the first time. I also ordered some spacers to feel in the gaps on the mounts too. So while i wait for those i've been working on other stuff..... My dash was sagging in the middle bad, so i used a jack to raise the center up & welded in some more supports & got it back to where it needed to be. I also noticed my dash was 1 1/4" lower on the passenger side. Luckily it was an easy fix. Tomorrow im gonna grind down all the welds & finally start body working that big bitch!! Just before i called it a night, i decided to strip both doors of last remaining moldings, weather stripping, & the window tracks & motors.

hey man i got a few questions for you. I'm sure they are probably answered in this thread somewhere but I don't want to sift through 15 pages of posts lol. anyways, to lay out in the back did you have to change it, or did you do that just becasue? I am about to help my friend with his 01 neon. he's about 2" from laying as itis now. I was thinking I could just raise the tops of the strut towers will that work? also for the front, same deal. I know you are more limited on room with raising the towers, but will the same idea work? was your car laying before you redid everything? any advice you can give would be much appreciated. his car is a daily, so we don't want to go too in depth with the fab work and the down time
