troy, i flew up to salt lake city and tried to drive it home 8-17. Please see thread WORST. LUCK. EVER. in the minitruckin general section, it's way too long to go through again, but my whole story's there.
kris, it cost me about $150 in gas for it, but i also paid for my buddy to come from Tulsa to Cheyenne to come tow it back to Tulsa for me, and he had tranny problems, so i spent about $300 for him (gas, tranny fluid, stop leak, etc.), and cost $236 for the plane ticket, plus all the stuff i got at Wal Mart for the trip home, all in all i bet i spent around $750 just to get it home.
Kyle, thanks for the song, i laughed my ass off.
michael and monkey, thanks for the props.
Uncle Fester, it will drive, i finally got it licensed and insured (another long story to get licensed, but i'll save that for another day). I still need to redo the air system, replace the shocks, and get the tranny worked on before i will let my family ride in it, but it is driveable right now.
