probe front air dam

OK...I hate even be asking this. But, I am helping a buddy with a body kit on a 1995 Probe...the first step on the instruction sheet says to remove the front bumper. Of course we tried putting it over the bumper and sure enough it will not fit back far enough to line up. How many of you have had to giveup front bumpers for a body kit? I am going to fab a bumper that WILL fit, but its the principle...I am not going to drive without a front bumper.

if im not mistaking, all body kits that is a full size bumper (non-lip kit) replace the front bumper. My front is after market & it replaced my bumper

he means the actual bumper bar on the front of the car i think? and if so its the same with all the hondas i ever installed.

yes I mean the ACTUAL bumper..the one for safety. You had to take it off of all the Hondas youve done? Did you fab a replacement like I am talking about doing?
