00-05 Silverado front suspension

I look through the owner profiles, but could not find any good pictures of the front suspension. I am curious what others are doing with mounting the shock. If you have any pics of the front set up, please post, thanks

on the 02 i just finished, didnt run shocks up front yet. the back has shocks, and rides bitchin. ive been contemplating not running shocks on the front, but i know i eventually will....i say the back is a definite, the front isnt as big of a deal. i figured the front would be way worse, but with the slam re7s, its really nice... what are you doing with your fusebox?

Shocks are a big deal on these trucks... On this suspsion design, the travel of the wheels go positive-negative-positive (camber) alot more than other GM trucks... With no shocks up front, u will notice alot of wear on the inside and outside of the tires...

I mount them in the usual place behind the control arms, damn near straight up and down as close to the frame as possible...

mine are mounted right next to the uca bolts straight up and down
