shock w/reservoir ?????

what are some of the better shocks w/ reservoirs that are out there? i want to run some on my datsun project a little later and was just wondering everyones opinion.i want to run regulars on the front and the ones w/ res. out back.the ones i found appear t be around 150-200 but it didnt specify for one or two.

I have them on the back of my Toyota. They ride real good. I bought some used japanese brand ones so I'm not sure what the going rate on them would be, All I can say is they ride nice.

Go with King shocks... they are a bit more expensive though, at about $1000(I think)

Im runnin pro comps all the way around with res i havent driven it yet but they look cool.

If you are looking for a good shock in the $150 to $200 range, run a non-resevoir Bilstein from RCD Classics (www.rcdclassics.com) they have shocks that are valved specifically for bagged vehicles. A cheap resevoir shock at that price is not a high quality part. If you really want to spend the coin though, Parker is right. King is the way to go. King and I have come up with an ultra high-end resevoir shock for the airbag crowd. They are like two shocks in one. At ride height they ride normally, but when you are about 2" off of the ground the shock get stiffer, keeping the vehicle from hitting the ground. That portion of the travel is externally adjustable too. They do cost $1000 but if you want the best...

Most of those companies (FOX, KING, Sway-away...) are pretty much the same when comparing apples to apples. Fox makes shocks for stuff that KING doesn't.
