exhaust

Exhaust... lets see what you got. I need to redo mine, i've got the pacesetter header but need to know what else i need. I'm looking for a not so loud but deeper tone if that makes sense. I have to run a cat but it can be gutted. So any ideas of what muffler to run? Maybe pictures of how your exhaust is run. Thanks in advance as i will be leaving for work soon. Later.

i ran a flowmaster cant remember what series but it had as low of a tone your going to get from a 4 banger and if your running a cat id leave it stock to give it a lower tone

No pic because the one I had with a header is long gone but I ran a pacesetter header, 2 1/4" pipe through a highflow catco converter and put a 18" glasspack at the very end welded the tip to it and it was deep it also sounded more like a ricer but it was deep.

2 1/2" exhaust is way too big, you'll be much happier performance wise if you go no bigger than 2"

I have 2 1/4 on my truck with a magnaflow and runs just fine and sounds good too..
