typical scenerio here...know about air but nothing about juice. can someone tell me how to decide what size cylinders to use?i know it obviously determines how high u want to go..but in the front of a unibody how do i determine, not relly going for crazy lift..trying to go low and am only concerned about clearing an 18.. also if i swap the front with cylinders will it initially set it down lower than the air strut did..before fabricated mounts.thanks in advance

Not sure on the unibody bit as for lenght measure where your cylinder will mount at the bottom to where you have plenty of clearance for the hood and such and get one that is a inch or so smaller. If you are going to run springs you may want to go 4 inches or so smaller so there is room for movement.

6 or 8s in the front run regular cylnders reverse are junk,,,and run accumulators no mini coils,,,i can show you pics of a strut housing i make that works perfect,,or go to www.myspace.com/illicitcustoms i think there is a pic there of the honda strut

6INCH CYLINDERS WITH ACCUMS IS THE BEST WAY TO GO. REVERSE FLOWS ARE KNOWN FOR LEAKING OVER TIME.

Do you have anymre pics?

I am learning about hydros. Is the cylinder inside a tube welded to the top mount or is that the cylinder itself? Where does the fluid enter?

Thanks

The piece that is welded on is just a tube that the cylinder is slid into. The fluid goes in the top
