Hey guys I need a little advice. I did a quick search for this, but didn't find anything. I'm going to start working on an standard cab short bed F-150 for someone; and I want to be really fair to him, and also not shortchange myself. I'm going to be backhalving the truck, with tubing he has already pre-cut to how he wants it, installing an S.D. 4 link, and bag over axle w/crossmembers and shock mount kit, bagging and making the front lay on 22's, and shaving door handles and fender emblems, minus bodywork, for some reason he wants to do it. I guess my question is what would some of you charge for this? He's got a little money, but isn't loaded, and I don't want to rape him.. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,Chris B.

just a lil help i normally notch 4link and bag the rear of a truck for 600, but with doing a back half and making the front lay with 22's its will be atleast 3 times that much if not more to be honest, and if the truck has i-beams man o man will that be fun lol..

Oh I forgot to mention, it's like a 2002, newer bodystyle, it doesn't have i beams.

be up front, charge a flat rate per hour, and keep track of the hours. keep in mind you'll be a little slow if you haven't don a lot of this, and price accordingly. so no one gets hosed.

I actually suggested doing bags on bars, but this is how he wants it; who am I to argue?

Thanks for your help guys, I think I have an idea of what I should do.
