Brushed Billet aluminum?

I was wondering if you can get brushed billet aluminum buffed and polished out to a mirror like shine. It's a glovebox that only comes in brushed billet aluminum and I was wanting to to be more of a polished aluminum look. I'm pretty sure I can just wanna know for sure before I buy one.

You can do it. I would take it to a Polishing/Chrome shop tho' Its a time consuming, dirty job. I polished my intake manifold once. Sanded it smooth, and then used a buffer with a cotton pad and compond. I was covered in black crud when I was done... but it can be done.

Yeah I use to have a buffer by my shop but he moved and yes i've seen his black crud wardrobe and I got no intentions of doing it myself. but thanks i think i will order it next week then.
