I HAD A QUESTION I HAVE A 99 SILVERADO WHERE THE UPPER BALL JOINT ON MY TRUCK SHOULD IT BE UPSIDE DOWN BOLT FACIN UP ARE THE BOLT FACIN DOWN BECAUSE I BROKE MY BALL JOINT AND SOMEONE TOLD ME IT SHOULD BE BOLT UPSIDE DOWN DOES ANYONE HAVE PICTURES OR ANYTHING I NEED Help THANKS

the upper balljoint should be bolt facin down

then why did it brake on me

if u have stock spindles it faces down and if u have drop spindles it faces up. and as far as why it broke, it was put in too much of a bind. on chevy balljoints there is a certain direction it must be pressed into the c.arm. if not in this direction it does not have enuff room and it will bind and break. now to tell how it goes in, pull the dust boot off and look at the actual cup that the "ball" sits in, two opposite sides are "notched" and the other two opposite sides are not. u need the "notched" sides facing in and out, not front and back.....
