i can get a rx-7 irs for $150 with no brakes from an 86 or a complete irs from a 87 supra turbo for $200.

i seems like everyone is using rx-7's so im wondering what you guys think. they both have a good bolt pattern for my wheels but what will be easier to work with.

depends on your level of skills I guess.

you'll probably be making arms and what not for the supra irs... the rx-7 you can't do to much with (without a lot of work) so you just build around it and bolt it in.

so the supra is a much different set up then? i wish i would have taken a better look at it.

yeah its got upper and lower control arms coming from the center... whereas the rx7 just has the one arm on each side that comes from the front x-member thing.

i see, well ill take a better look tomarrow, sounds like the rx-7 might just be the easy...easier way to go
