hey been through this more than once. headmans barely fit even with a non body dropped truck. i think you are concerned with the steering shaft and stuff. there is only one company that makes the right shit. Advanced adapters slick fits. they are block huggers made specifically for an s10 v8 conversion. they come with out a coupler so you can add a foot of pipe and make them longer. the headmans are a bitch to bolt up and are garbage the flages are like sheetmetal. do your self a favor and order the slick fits tonight. let me know how you make out.

I checked out advanced adapters but the only header they list for the s-10 is a chevy v-8 small block header and they don't show a picture. Could these be the slick fits?

yes these are the slick fits. make sure you get them to fit a 2wd. im gona try and take pics of a set i bought for my truck and post em for you. they follow the same contours and path as the camaro exhaust manifolds some one mentioned. thers no ports for sensors or any thing. not sure what style 350 you are running but they can be welded in. any other brand and a body drop will not work out. i have tryed and have gotten close but it looks like shit by the time your done. I think doug (sic customs) is running them in his blazer as well. should be a ton of pics in his profile.

yup...I've got the advance adapters slick fits. They fit inside the steering column and stay way the hell out of the way.

I've seen those before but never knew what kind they were. How much are they? If I go with any taller tires in front my Hedmans will hit the control arms.

heres the headmans in my daily driver. its not body dropped and sits on 225 45 18s. no clearance issues anywhere. trust me they are junk. my other truck is body dropped and set up for slick fit. sorry no pics at the moment. but when i was doing the swap i hit a brick wall with the exhaust issues. lol i searched every damn profile till i saw dougs on his blazer.
