I don't have them in hand, and really don't know about fittings. Would like to run the PTC's from suicide as they have free shipping right now, and well....im waiting on other parts still. May as well.

What I need to know is, is the thread on these like a industry standard or what? SD doesn't ask what thread size or anything, so I am guessing it is?

Also, if used correctly, they won't leak? I always hear both sides, but I may end up having to drive it without a compressor and tank, so just don't want any leaks....

I believe that an F 9000 airspring has a standard 1/4" NPT port. Nothing unusual to worry about. PTC fittings will be fine as long as they are DOT aproved. The DOT fittings have a ferrul(sp?) in them which is what you will need. Nothing special to hook them up to your lines either. Just make sure that the line has a clean and straight cut on the end, push it into the fitting and give it a tug back to lock it in place. Hope this helps you a bit.

The thread on the f9000 is 1/4" NPT. So get a 1/4" NPT to whatever line size you want to run.

okay, thanks. would you reccommend these or compressions, given that i will possibly have to ride without a compressor and shit for a little?

both work great if you get good ones.. dont get the all plastic PTC in the winter they'll shrink and expand in the summer and leak.

i like both types of fittings.. both work well if you install them right.

I prefer PTCs.

any ptc fittings with plastic are crap, dot or not. we carry all brass dot fittings. we have ptc and compression. but not free shipping. if you spend $10 on fittings and we ship for free, we lost our ass. if you want a good bit of fittings....i can do something for ya.

mike, i may call you in the AM, as I don't like all this over the net credit card crap. i talked to you a loooooooong time ago (2 years or so now) around christmas and got a bag kit from you.

Hey man no problem calling but our website is fully secure and phone orders are run on the same system. it is covered though verisign which is owned by ebay/paypal. very secure.

when people call in a phone order the card is entered just as you would, just on the back side of the web. it is safer than someone writing it down on a jot pad and thowing it in the garbage. your credit card number is sent within millaseconds over a secure connection and then deleted, not stored. Which is aillegal for companies to do unless they have the proper authority...but it cost big big big bucks..
