Atmosphere, Brother Ali, I self Divine, the whole Rhymesayers Ent. label, Aesop Rock. pretty much nothing you'll hear on a mainstream radio

ahh yes, cant wait for the new atmosphere album. have the "undisputed truth" album of brother ali's in the deck now. great album. "faheem" is a great track, as is "ear to ear".

Nas- Stillmatic, thats the only thing of his i can stand, not a fan of Tech n9ne really. dont like tupac, like biggie a little. the whole west coast thing just doesnt do it for me.

east coast is where its at, joel ortiz, immortal technique, all of them. the majority of SIGNED people (independant labels or not) from the mid west come out being very good oddly enough.

i mainly listen to rap now a days started out with the commerical stuff but been listening to alot of the unground/unsigned dudes lately but heres a few

serius jones, luda, immortal techinique, apathy, shyne, joe budden, fab, old dmx, 1999 50 cent, alot of T.I., jeezy, older outkast, eminem, jay-z, jadakiss, styles-p, jae millz, weezy, and a bunch more

As far as rock all the newer stuff kinda sounds the same to me but i like anything from puddle of mudd to remembering never to panic at the disco.

over all pretty wide range

Kanye West is a doucherocket. There hasn't been any rap worth listening to in the last 10+ years.
