i have a 2000 chevy silverado extended cab bagged. im having a bad shutter after takeoff and again after 60+. ive narrowed it down to the pinion angle off a bit and the main problem is is that when the bags were done, the carrier bearing mounting bracket was removed and rewelded, i dont think it was put back in the correct spot causing most of the shutter. now the question is can i put in a one piece driveshaft instead of the two piece i have now and will i have any problems with the one piece later down the road. and finally if it will work what year chevy do i get the one piece out of. sorry for the long post, any help is appreciated.

I have the same problem out of my 2000 silverado regular cab and I have been told that the drive shaft needs to be shortened. My truck has a one piece drive shaft so I don't believe switching to a one piece will help your problem.
