What is the proper back spacing and width of 22" wheels on the rear of an S-10 with factory with frame and axle going wih boyds or bonspeeds thanx in advance.

im bodydropped, got 22x9 centerlines with 5.5" backspacing, they bolted right up. that's about the most backspacing i would be comfortable with though. they are about an inch away from the frame. a little less would probably be perfect.

thanx ,how far is the outside of the wheel/tire from the bed side

one more thing how big is the lip on the wheel

i just went out and put my hand between the wheel/tire and the bedside. its pretty close too. maybe like an inch.

the lip is about 2.5" - 3".

i got a few pics on my profile. im runnin 255/30/22 tires too.

ok what about 22's on a step side bed. i am toying with the idea of running 20-22 combo on my b/d dime with a step side bed. narrow rear end, raise bed sides? going to go with bonspeeds or BAD. have not decided yet.

wont have to narrow the rearend unless you get wide ass 22's. but the bedsides will need to come up.
