anyone know the notch dimensions for a 88-98 std cab chevy fullsize? I got a guy that is going to build me a notch if i can get the dimensions.Thanks

I guess maybe everyone is confused by your question. The height of your notch is basically whatever you want it to be of course depending on what size wheels your going to put in the back. The width is obviously the same width of your rail. Now the length is also whatever you want it to be. Just make sure its long enough for the rear end to come up with no problem.

umm. i dunno... overall dimension? i remember seeing an auto cad notch somewhere. but i cant find it anymore. it had the lenths of everything and the angles.

yeah thats probably the one I drew up awhile back. really though there are 100 ways to do it. I just posted it as an example to figure out the angles. its by no means a notch for your specific truck.

If you tell me the material you want to use (say 2x3 or 2x4) the inside height and top inside width you want i can draw you up one tomorrow to fit your truck if you need it to figure out the cut angles. Obviously the bottoms need to be trimmed to match your frame.

Just shoot me an IM in case I forget about the thread by tomorrow.
