i'm looking for some pics of a triangulated 4 link on either a notched rear frame or on a back halved frame. i'm thinking about helping a friend bag the back of his truck. i've researched this for a while i just want to see a few more pics from the guys who do it the best.

it said something like Invalid Friend ID.
This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted, but i looked at the pics on ur profile. most of the triangulated 4 links has the upper bars reversed of what you have? do you know any advantage/disadvantage to doing it that way? also, where will you be mounting your bags? sorry if im asking stupid questions

Maybe this will help.

Theres also a ton of good pictures in the owner profiles. Lots of clean simple setups.

ill be mounting my bags on the lower bars directly under the fram rails. I basically did my uppers that way so the tabs can be mounted on that bar over the rearend houseing. i really dont know the disadvantage if their is.

The best advise for the first timer that I can think of ifs simply to take your time. Its not a race when you are doing it as a hobby, rushing usually shows in the end. Sometimes only visually, i.e. rough edges, MIG spatter everywhere, unused stock bracketry left on, 1001 zip ties etc. Sometimes rush jobs show when stuff breaks which is very bad for you and anyone driving around you when it happens. You have the right idea so far, you are doing your homework and collecting visual references to help you along the way. AS long as you are handy with a welder and some basic shop tools you should do fine.

Make sure you read the 4-link sticky, it has lots of good info...
