I am working on the rockers of my bodied tacoma. It was body dropped 3 years ago by me and a couple of friends in 3 days. Anywayz..over the next year I drug the shit out of my rockers. from the back of the cab to bout the middle there is no connection with the rockers and the cab. I am looking at all the panels and supports just sticking out and separated.WHAT A DUMBASS!!! i know. I really dont wanna cut off the rocker and take it any lower cuz i wanna run 20s and dont have anymore room for wheels to come up as they are already gonna be close to the hood. I could just plate them but there isnt a whole lot left that is sturdy to weld to on the bottom. has anyone been through this?

sounds like its gonna suck, i'd start by takin the cab off the truck and layin it on its back. Cuz thats alot of overhead welding, then plate it off. It might seem unsturdy when its all ripped apart, but as long as you weld all the supports, floor, inner rocker and the rocker up it'll be strong. good luck

I would get a new cab from a wreckin yard

I would probably got with the new cab idea. Its seems it would be easier to stock floor a new cab then put something onto the new cab that no longer exists.

I will probably just plate it best I can. Unless I could find a cab. There are no tacos around here in salvage yards..i dont get it. I have looked for almost a year cuz the truck also needs a bed. I have already got the factory bedsides from toyota to take care of that though. Sux..its gonna be a job fixing the damn rockers..lesson learnt
